AI and Big Healthcare Data Research Lab
We build epidemiological models, population-health forecasts, and local LLM systems using Kazakhstan's Unified National Electronic Healthcare System — covering the entire population since 2014.
About the Lab
The AI and Big Healthcare Data Research Lab uses the Unified National Electronic Healthcare System (UNEHS) to conduct large-scale epidemiological studies across Kazakhstan. In close collaboration with the Ministry of Healthcare and the Republican Center of Electronic Healthcare, we maintain research databases with prospective follow-up, nationwide coverage, and full population representativeness.
Our current work spans two pillars: classical epidemiology and machine learning for disease forecasting, and local large language models for analyzing electronic medical records, predicting healthcare outcomes, and modeling drug demand.
